Welcome to the The 3rd International Conference on Animal Research for Eco-Friendly Livestock Industry (The 3rd ICARELI) “Application of precision livestock farming for eco-friendly food production systems”.
This conference brings together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and innovators to explore the transformative potential of precision livestock farming (PLF) in advancing sustainable and environmentally responsible food production systems.
As the global demand for animal-based food products continues to rise, the livestock sector faces increasing challenges related to environmental sustainability, resource efficiency, and animal welfare. Precision livestock farming represents a forward-looking approach that leverages advanced technologies—such as real-time monitoring, automation, and data-driven decision-making—to optimize animal health, productivity, and environmental performance.
Through keynote sessions, technical presentations, and collaborative discussions, this event will highlight cutting-edge research, emerging technologies, and successful implementations of PLF across diverse agricultural contexts. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and innovation, the conference aims to support the development of livestock systems that are not only efficient and economically viable but also aligned with ecological and ethical imperatives.
We are pleased to provide a platform for meaningful engagement and knowledge exchange among experts and stakeholders committed to shaping the future of sustainable livestock farming.
The 3rd ICARELI conference in 2025 held by Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Sebelas Maret elaborates the latest issues in the field of production technology i.e.: precision and smart farming systems, bio-industrial synthetic amino acids for meat, prevention of carbon emissions from waste by proper processing, issues of climate change, and the epidemiology of the spread of animal diseases (trans-geographic diseases). The issues are ideas to overcome constraints for food security and safety. The concept will be explained by invited speakers who are experts in their fields from New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia.
